Our story

Lesefee.ch started with something personal: helping my father with his letters.

As he gets older, I help him open and read his post, understand what it means and deal with bills. I work in finance and insurance, so helping him is part of balancing a busy working life with being there for my family.

That everyday experience made me think about other families. I believe many sons and daughters recognise the same situation: wanting to support their parents while also helping them stay independent.

That is why I am building Lesefee.ch. I want to give older people a simple way to listen to their letters, hear a clear explanation and ask questions in their own words, at their own pace.

My wish is to help them feel more confident handling their post and make everyday life a little easier for their families too.

My aim is to keep Lesefee.ch free to use and build it around the people who need that help.

Lesefee.ch began with my father in mind. I am building it for other families too.
